This is the blog of student-led grassroots music organisation Octagon Records. 

Octagon is supported through a collaboration between the Department of Music at the University of Sheffield and Hudson Records. 

This blog is intended to contribute to the discourse around Cultural Strategy in Sheffield and South Yorkshire which is being led by Sheffield City Council and SYMCA.
