My name is Neil McSweeney and I’m a songwriter and musician, co-founder of Hudson Records and academic at University of Sheffield.
This website was originally launched to accompany an album named A Coat Worth Wearing, recorded in 2015 and released in 2017.
I work increasingly at the intersection of music, technology and wellbeing. I am also closely interested in supporting the flourishing of the music ecosystem in Sheffield and South Yorkshire.
My practice is informed by Social Systems Theory, Pragmatism, and Pluralism. Please feel free to get in touch.
